Color photos from 1939-43

Here are some color photos from 1939 to 1943. Something about them was just really neat. They're from an era when you think the photos should all be in black and white, so the fact that they're in color adds a touch of surrealism to them.

A article in the Wall Street Journal by Tony Woodlief about copyright that HM thought was pretty good, albeit a bit too short. Well written and not the usual "Is Not/Is Too" stuff. Or at least both sides are given some representation.

Free Comic Book Day

Tomorrow, May 1st, is Free Comic Book Day, one of Honestmonkey's favorite days, even better than his birthday. Go find an independent comic book shop and try a few books. HM usually visits 4 or 5 stores in the area. Sometimes artists and writers are on hand, so check it out.
